God — The Greatest Superhero Ever?

Consider God — an intensely compassionate hero with the strength of a million Supermen. Faster than the speed of light. More knowledge and intelligence than all humanity combined. An extrasensory ability to see and hear everything. Absolute dominion over the essence of life itself.
God could be the greatest superhero ever!
He would:
Eliminate Suffering
There is no greater tragedy than the excruciating torment of an innocent child suffering from unrelenting pain. Every moment of every day there are hundreds of thousands of children pleading for release from their intractable agony. They lie on beds, cots, mats, and dirt floors, enduring the pain of burns, accidents, disease, birth defects, and abuse. Parents, friends, and caregivers struggle mightily to help, but the mightiest of all superheroes could eliminate it all with the simple wink of His benevolent eye.
Erase Hunger
Starvation is a cruel thief who slowly and painfully tortures away the lives of 25,000 people a day. The greatest superhero who ever existed would savor the opportunity to rapidly dispatch this insidious foe. With a quick snap of His powerful fingers, multitudes of nutritious crops would sprout, and rivers of fresh clean water would spring forth.
Cure Disease and Infection
The twin scourges, disease and infection, claim their victims at an alarming rate. The malevolent pair gleefully cripple and kill hundreds of millions of people worldwide. They crush dreams and steal hope from victims, families, and friends. Bankruptcy, despair, and suicide are the toxic residues left behind. Fortunately, our great superhero could wield His cunning and skill to swoop in and smite the dastardly duo to oblivion.
Eliminate Murder, Rape, and Theft
Gone are the days when you open doors to strangers, and skip carefree along woodland trails. Evil incarnate lurks among us and takes our lives, possessions, and innocence. A benevolent superhero would block these soul-crushing crimes before they happen, while generously bestowing salvation upon the repentant offenders.
End Religious Wars & Terrorism
The greatest God of superheroes need only greet us in person with a friendly smile and a warm embrace. His simple presence would lift the hearts of the citizens of earth into a unified rapture of energetic prayer and devotion. He would proudly welcome and cleanse all who worshiped false idols.
Vanquish Mental Illness, Depression, Suicide, and Homelessness
Mental illness is terrifying journey through the valley of death that devastates the lives of everyone it touches. A divine superhero would cast out these demons and bring joyful relief to the millions living and dying under this curse.
God could be this superhero
Any superhero with such immense power, compassion, and love, would choose to deliver happiness to his children. No tricks. No demands. No bargains. God, the greatest superhero ever, should deliver us from evil.
But he doesn’t.
