But I'm glad you found it and read it. The guy I wrote about is a good friend (just saw him yesterday) and is doing well.

Your story is great. Get the hell out before it crushes you! Well done (but 200 days notice? wow - I did 90 and thought that was too much).

Sounds like you're on the coast of Lake Michigan now - what a fantastic place to retire (except maybe in the winters). I've spent a little time up the coast on both the Chicago side and on the MI side and it's a beautiful lake - perfect place for retirement.
