Hi John. Great to hear from you again. Great story too - terrifying. My wife tells a story that's similar and from about the same time. Crossing the border she was afraid the gunmen would take her passport and never give it back. She said the were transporting shackled prisoners on the bus with her too.

This year we still saw men with guns but they were border guards and the process of crossing the border is much safer now. No rebels to be seen.
