Hi Klara,

There are countless YouTube videos from snowbirds and expatriates with tips and insights for you. Also lots of blogs and articles. I’ve spent a lot of time reading and watching them to learn more myself. I get it — any major life change, especially in a different country and culture, is frightening. Take your time and start with short hops like 2 weeks. Then move up to 3 or 4 weeks. Try different places to learn about the country, and be sure to get out of your comfort zone so you can truly experience the ‘real’ Mexico. You’ll love it! BTW, Mexico is no more dangerous than a big city in the USA. There are areas that you don’t want to go, and areas that are safe and enjoyable. Do a little research and talk with people before you go and also talk to locals when you arrive and you’ll be perfectly safe.
