I'm sure you're right, Opher. Just as other technical or social changes have moved our cheese, this one will too. I'm simultaneously excited and terrified.

The big one I see is code. This app is an excellent code writer. Either it will accelerate the pace of tech change or will displace millions of developers (or both). Either way, companies win, and the one holding the keys to the golden kingdom (Microsoft and OpenAI and others to come) will be the big winners. Will this be a step towards UBI? We'll see.
