Oh my, Charlene. If I had a universal answer to "what will I do..." then I'd be rich and famous. Unfortunately it's different for everyone.

My secret is 'anticipation.' I keep a calendar and make sure there are a few things to look forward to on my list every week. Once we come to terms with the fact that retirement isn't endless parties, we can enjoy a nice balance between activities and couch surfing.

Stay active. And enjoy those dogs. The one in your profile picture looks amazing. I love dogs too but for now I'm temporarily dogless.
