First off, the header picture is magnificent!

I don't see why you shouldn't delete and republish - I do hear it's okay.

One of my problems (I have many) is whenever I read anything older than a year or so I find the writing quality needs improvement. So I'd have to do some edits and rewrites before republishing and then the question is ... would my time be better spent on a new topic?

Another thought is that I prefer to submit stories that might get boosted and I'd only want to republish something that might tickle the boosters' interests. Not sure if I have many of those.

Can't hurt to give it a try though!
